ALS doesn't define who you are. It's just part of your life story.
View the videos of others PALS who believe the same and are rewriting their own ending. And send us an e-mail if you believe you have one for us to feature, as well.
ENJOY A WILD SPEAKEASY EVENT WITH DANCING AND DINING, HONORING AND REMEMBERING THOSE THAT CAN NO LONGER DANCE, DINE, OR “SPEAK EASY”.
Guys and Molls 5th Annual Prohibition Party, presented by Walmart
Thank you to those who supported A Life Story Foundation for the Guys and Molls 5th Annual Prohibition Party, on March 11, 2017. We raised close to $150,000, which goes directly towards our mission to raise awareness and create action to discover effective treatments and ultimately, a cure for ALS!
The evening would not have been possible without the support of our gracious sponsors; Tableside Restaurant Group, Sysco, Outback Bowl Tampa Bay, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, and many others!
An enormous thank you to those who committed to additional donations during the event! We were lucky to have a wonderful emcee in Bob Harrigan of ABC Channel 7 My Suncoast News, in addition to our incredible live auctioneer, Dan Shaffer, who made it especially fun to raise money in our quest to rewrite the end of ALS.
It was a fabulous night thanks to poolside music by Janine Elise Kloiber and Patrick Scott; antique autos on display, professional dance lessons and presentations by Fred Astaire Dance Studios Lakewood Ranch; delicious cuisine, beverages and whisky tasting by Modern Events; the White Tie photo booth; music performed by Tom-Catz Jazz; photography by Memories by Mills, LB Blanchard and Ron Charmoy; and the terrific live and silent auctions, and raffle items donated by the generous Sarasota-Bradenton community and beyond!
Should you have any questions about the evening, please contact Julie Swan at (713) 443-2972.
Thank you for your generosity and making it a night to remember!
